Reds- Addiction Awareness is represented by a red ribbon, red is powerful and promotes strength, passion, courage, and motivation. It is a bold color.

Oranges- Self injury is not a mental illness but it occurs due to underlying mental illnesses and is represented by an orange ribbon, orange promotes self-esteem, optimism, and being able to self-express yourself.

Yellows- Suicide Prevention is represented by a yellow ribbon, yellow also promotes contentment, rationality, confidence.

Greens- Mental Health Awareness, Bipolar Awareness, Mood Disorders, and Depression Awareness are all represented by a green ribbon, green also promotes being compassionate to others, having balance and harmony.

Blues- Anxiety Awareness, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Awareness, Panic Disorder Awareness, PTSD Awareness, and Dissociative Identity Disorder Awareness are all represented by a teal ribbon, Suicide Awareness is represented by a purple & teal, blue promotes a sense of calming, truthfulness, healing, and relaxation.

Purples- Eating Disorders are represented by a periwinkle ribbon, purple promotes peace, imagination, and wanting to help others.
